Saudi Arabia's Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, announced that Sunday, January 25, 2015, tomorrow, will be an official non-working public holiday for all government sectors and students in all phases of education, to facilitate Saudi citizens offering their condolences on the passing of King Abdullah and to give them the opportunity to pledge allegiance to King Salman.

Four years ago (2011-02-22), the government of Saudi Arabia had declared February 26, 2011, as a one-off public holiday throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to celebrate the return of then Saudi King Abdullah, after a three-month absence for medical treatment.
