Libya's ruling National Council and the Beida government of Abdullah Thinni have announced that Thursday, November 30, 2017, had been declared a non-working public holiday throughout Libya on account of the upcoming annual Mawlid Al-Nabi (Birth of the Prophet) non-working public holiday in Libya for 2017.
The aforementioned announcement that Thursday, November 30, 2017, had been declared a non-working public holiday throughout Libya on account of the upcoming Birth of the Prophet public holiday in Libya for 2017, is in line with the overhaul of Libyan public holidays carried-out 6 years ago (2012-01-08), and the list of official non-working 2017 public holidays in Libya as announced by the Libyan government, early this year (2017-01-16).
