The Peruvian government has announced that Thursday and Friday, August 30-31 2018, would be non-working public sector holidays in Peru.

The aforementioned announcement that Thursday and Friday, August 30-31 2018, would be public holidays in Peru, as other past ones (2018-03-07), are in line with the Decreto Supremo Nº 021-2017-TR, released late last year (2017-12-26) by the government of Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, and which amended and expanded the list of the official non-working public holidays in Peru for the upcoming calendar year 2018 ("Declaran días no laborables compensables para los trabajadores del Sector Público, durante el Año 2018").
