The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Service of the Government of Uganda, Daniel Mugulusi, has ruled-out the rumoured declaration of Friday, November 30, 2018, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Uganda.
The aforementioned announcement ("Please note that this day is not a public holiday") thus leaves unchanged the list of the official non-working public holidays to be observed in Uganda in the calendar year 2018, as announced earlier this year (2018-01-31).
