Ceuta 2021 Public Holidays Approved

The recently-announced draft of the annual official list of 2021 non-working Ceuta public holidays (calendario laboral) in the Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta has been approved in plenary session.

Earlier this month (2020-07-14), a draft of the annual official list of 2021 non-working Ceuta public holidays (calendario laboral) in the Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta had been circulated, once again ruling-out the inclusion of a second Muslim public holiday in Ceuta for the Eid al Fitr, or End of Ramadan.

As per the aforementioned draft, the 2021 Feast of Sacrifice (Pascua del Sacrificio) Muslim public holiday, will be observed on July 20, 2021, in Spain's region of Ceuta.

The announced annual official list of non-working public holidays (calendario laboral) in the Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta for 2021, once again contains a non-working public holiday on September 2, for the Día de Ceuta (2019-10-04, 2019-09-27, 2018-09-29, 2018-08-28, 2018-07-30, 2016-10-08, 2016-10-02, 2015-10-31, 2015-10-05), but does not add another Muslim public holiday has had been proposed in the Ceuta assembly on many occasions (2016-07-11).
