The Government of the Indian State of Punjab has issued the vide notification PERS-PP-30MISC/35/2020-2PP3 declaring Saturday, May 1st, 2021, as a gazetted public holiday on the occasion of the 400th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji.

The aforementioned declaration of Saturday, May 1st, 2021, as a gazetted public holiday in the State of Punjab, thus further amends (2021-04-07 and 2021-02-08) the previously-released annual list of "the days which will be non-working public holidays in India's state of Punjab for the upcoming calendar year 2021", as contained in the Punjab Government Notification PP-30MISC/35/2020-2PP3/I/118774/2020/1 issued by the Government of Punjab late last year (2020-12-17).
