The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam (MOLISA) has submitted to the Prime Minister a draft list of 2022 public holidays in Vietnam, with only one option for the Lunar New Year and National Day public holidays, for once.

Due to the way dates fall in 2022, there was no need for an initial draft with multiple options, circulated among ministries before being submitted to the Prime Minister, as was the case in past years (2020-10-29, 2020-09-15, 2020-09-15, 2019-08-28, 2019-07-22, 2019-05-03, 2018-04-13, 2017-09-29 and 2016-10-19).
