No Holidays Generated for Year

Scroll Prev Up Next More

The start for/end for dates generated by the begin rule/end rule of the current DiaryGridLine are such that start date and/or end date occurs in a year for which no holidays were generated.

This message is only issued after Q++Studio has verified that the current DiaryGridLine actually uses holiday tokens, or refers to one of the aeiou-holidays through one of the following properties: minicalendar options, slogans rules and macros rules.

Any holiday tokens, or property that references holidays, will not behave as you thought they would, and a run-time message will be generated.

Solution

Re-Generate Holidays: Lets you expand the range of years for which holidays have been generated to cover all the dates of the current DiaryGridLine. Make sure to select the missing years when re-generating the holidays (an easy way to prevent this message from re-occurring is to set the range of years for diary generation, in the data preferences, to a comfortable range such as -2 to +4).
