India's Maharashtra State Declares Ambedkar Public Holiday

After weeks of repeated requests on the part of the police, the Maharashtra government has finally declared holiday for schools and colleges in the city of Mumbai, today, on the occasion of the 50th death anniversary of the father of Constitution, Babasaheb Ambedkar.
