Ecuador's Minister of Tourism, Verónica Sión de Josse, has released a list of the official public holidays in Ecuador for the calendar year 2010.
The announced list of public holidays follows the guidelines of the Decreto N. 418 de 19 de junio de 2007, signed by President Rafael Correa (20-Jun-2007).
Though the announcement does not spell-out the Carnival recuperation dates, usually the object of a later annoucement (21-Feb-2009 and 27-Jan-2008), it does say that this will occur of the 2 subsequent Saturdays ("los dos días de Carnaval se recuperarán sin recargo alguno los dos sábados subsiguientes a la suspensión").
