(Posted on Friday, January 8, 2010)

Source: Latvijas Banka (private communication)

The government of Latvia has announced additional public holidays on May 3rd, June 25th and November 19, 2010.

As per custom (21-May-2009 and 13-Apr-2007), these additional, one-off, bridge public holidays are to be compensated by the same number of Saturdays being declared as regular working days. In 2010, these compensation working Saturdays will be: May 29, June 19, and November 13.

Note that, although the aforementioned announcement has just now been made official, the data on the www.qppstudio.net website (and that supplied to our licensees) already reflected this information, based on our direct contacts in Latvia.
