Romania's Minister of the Economy, Adriean Videanu, has announced that, in 2010, public sector employees would no longer be forced into unpaid, year-end, public sector holidays.
At the end of last year (11-Nov-2009), Romania's Secretary of State, Fatuloiu Valentin, had announced that public sector employees would be forced to take eight days of unpaid public sector holidays, at the end of the year, in a bid to cut the budget deficit.
