UAE Upcoming Eid Public Holidays Could Last 9 Days

The upcoming Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha are expected on Monday and Tuesday, November 15 and 16, 2010, in the UAE, and local media report that Sunday, November 14, 2010, may also be declared a public holiday.

If so, this would mean a 9-day break as the aforementioned public holidays would combine with the Friday-Saturday UAE weekend (15-Aug-2006) to range from Friday, November 12, to Saturday, November 20, 2010.

Recently (03-Nov-2010)., Qatar announced such an extended Eid public holidays.
