A bill has been introduced in the Liberian House of Representatives to consolidate the various Liberian annual public holidays honoring past presidents into a single, Presidents' Day, public holiday on the last Monday in October.
The aforementioned bill, presented by Rep. George Wesseh Blamoh, would affect the annual public holidays (26-Nov-2011) devoted to Liberia's first president, Joseph Jenkins Roberts (March 15), and its 18th president, William VS Tubman (November 29).
