Contrary to previous announcements, the date for the public holiday for the upcoming Mawlid (Prophet's Birthday) in Tunisia, has now been announced as being Saturday, February 4, 2012.
Late last year (15-Dec-2011), the government of Tunisia had released the list of official public holidays in Tunisia for the upcoming calendar year 2012, in which the public holiday for the Prophet's Birthday was marked as being Sunday, February 5, 2012.
