The Hamas Government of Palestine's Gaza Strip has announced that Saturday, February 4, 2012, would be the date of the upcoming public holiday for Prophet Mohammed's birthday.
The government of the Palestinian Authority usually (27-Jun-2011), but not always (15-Jul-2009), uses the dates of the Saudi Umm al-Qura calendar to determine the date of Muslim public holidays.
