Following the Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) football winning of the Malaysia Cup, earlier tonight, Johor's State Secretary, Datuk Azmi Rohani, announced that the government of Malaysia's State of Johor had declared tomorrow, Sunday, November 5, 2017, as a one-off special public holiday in Malaysia's State of Johor.
Earlier this week (2017-11-01), the State Secretary of of Malaysia's State of Johor, Datuk Azmi Rohani, had announced that the government of Malaysia's State of Johor might declare Sunday, November 5, 2017, as a one-off special public holiday in Malaysia's State of Johor, should the Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) football team win the Malaysia Cup today.
Note that Malaysia's Kedah State, home of the defending champions, had also promised a one-off non-working public holiday in Malaysia's State of Kedah, in the event that the Kedah team won the championship.
