Aragon 2023 Public Holidays Announced

The government of Spain's autonomous region of Aragon has announced the annual list of regional non-working public holidays in Spain's autonomous region of Aragon for the upcoming calendar year 2023 ("fiestas laborales, de carácter retribuido y no recuperables e inhábiles, para el año 2023 en la comunidad").

The aforementioned "Decreto del Gobierno de Aragón, por el que se fijan las fiestas laborales retribuidas, no recuperables e inhábiles para el año 2022 en la Comunidad Autónoma de Aragón" declares a day in lieu public holiday to compensate January 1st falling on a Sunday in 2023, as is often the case (2021-06-30, 2020-07-15, 2019-06-04, 2018-07-10, 2016-06-01, 2015-05-06, 2014-04-30, and 2013-05-11), but not always (2017-07-22).

We can expect the aforementioned announcement to be officialized in a gazette publication, within a few weeks (2021-07-09, 2020-07-27, 2019-06-15, 2018-07-27, 2017-07-30, 2016-06-13, 2015-05-16 and 2014-05-11).
